What Is Autoimmune Strong?

Autoimmune Strong is the first exercise program designed for people living with autoimmune disease. Andrea Wool, the personal trainer and the founder of Autoimmune Strong, takes you through a series of instructional and workout videos designed to help you exercise safely, gaining strength, flexibility and mobility without triggering an exercise induced symptom flare-up.

What is Autoimmune Strong Small Group Coaching?

The Autoimmune Strong Small Group Coaching Program is a more personalized way of experiencing the Autoimmune Strong program. Like the standard Autoimmune Strong members, the small group members will watch the exercise videos and move their way through the program. What makes the small group coaching special is the extra level of personalization, encouragement, motivation, accountability and support- from both an expert coach and a group of people who are just like you.


How It Works

The small group meets weekly at a set date and time, via zoom (an online conference call).

It all begins with a kickoff call, where you get to meet your coaches and group members, talk in detail about the program, and set personalized long-term and short-term goals for your journey in this program. Your coach will give you your first workout assignment, and during the week, you will watch the specific videos assigned and practice the exercises.

Each week following, you will meet with the group and discuss your experience- and your coach will give you specific advice about how to adapt the exercise to your body's needs. The goal of this class is to help you overcome your fear of exercise, learn to listen to your body, and to teach you how to progress through the program in a way that is safe for you.

The program includes the following:

  • An expert personal trainer who specializes in exercise and autoimmune disease

  • Complete access to the Autoimmune Strong online video series

  • Weekly personalized goals that will help you stay accountable and motivated and will help you achieve your long term goals

  • A weekly 1h conference call where the coaches and group members come together and discuss their workouts, their successes and challenges, and set goals for the following week

  • A private facebook group for your small group only- so that you can communicate with your coaches and fellow members 24/7

  • Personalized modifications for any exercise that isn't right for your body

  • An accountability buddy as an extra boost of special support


The program begins the week of April 15th and lasts 12 weeks.

Class options are as follows:

Saturday 11:00 am EST
Tuesday 1:00 pm EST
Thursday 12:00 pm EST
Thursday 8:30 pm EST
Friday 11:00 am EST

Upon registration, you will mark the class options that work best for you, and once enrollment closes, you will be assigned to a group with one of the options you requested.*

*This is to make sure we have the right amount of people in the group- too many people in one group can make it less intimate and effective.


The class commitment is 12 weeks long- enough time to make some serious change to your body. By the end of the 12 weeks- you will be feeling amazing in ways you never expected!  


The exercises will be done via the Autoimmune Strong video program, available 24/7.

The in person class will meet weekly, via a video conference call. The calls will be conducted via the zoom application- which is free and super easy to set up (and don't worry, we will show you how). And if you can't make every call- that's ok! The calls will be recorded and available for playback anytime.
